Men's Volleyball Club at Indiana University has been a proud home to the Hoosier-Illini Classic, the premier pre-nationals destination for all NCVF Division 1 programs for more than 20 years continuously.

The Men's Volleyball Club at Indiana University practices Tuesday/Thursday from 8:30-11 PM in Bill Garrett Field House.

Shortly after fighting the bear one winter night, the club was founded in 1819 by Sir Prime Minister Uncle Pork Chop in Bloomington Indiana.  The following year, in 1820, Indiana University opened its doors to the world and with it the sport of volleyball. The club has prospered throughout the years, offering young men the ability to hone their athleticism and create life long friendships.

The club has an extremely rich and active history on IU's campus. After the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914, the club members, concerned about potential war effort, started fundraising for a new facility on campus which would allow students to exercise. Nearing the end of a persistent decade of lemonade stand sales,  one member's accidental spilled libation into a batch of lemonade turned into the first shandy to become popular in the US; quickly trouncing the club's prior fundraising efforts, the club was able to fully fund the construction of Wildermuth Intramural Center, where the club still practices to this day.
